Ready for the Future - ' Gotowi na przyszlosc'
Four young women from different cities across Poland kept noticing the same situation: young people are expected to make important decisions about their future while the world around them keeps shifting. Education paths are no longer linear, careers change direction, and the pace of change makes it difficult to feel certain about any choice.
Instead of waiting for better conditions, they decided to act. In 2024, they created the project “Gotowi na Przyszłość”—“Ready for the Future.” The idea was simple: create something that helps young people understand their options, develop relevant skills, and approach decisions more consciously.
At the beginning, the project lived on Instagram. Short posts and videos made complex topics accessible. They focused on situations many young people recognize: dealing with stress when the next step is unclear, building confidence without much experience, staying adaptable when plans do not work out as expected. The content focused on practical skills—thinking clearly, working with others, adjusting to change, communicating effectively. They also addressed how technology is changing the job market, what this means for different professions, and why flexibility is becoming essential.
A key step came with the first “MindSet Future” conference on April 5. For the first time, the project moved beyond content and created a live setting where people could listen, ask questions, and exchange ideas. Speakers from different fields shared their experiences and perspectives. Among them was Nika Triebe, who spoke about handling difficult conversations and why communication often determines whether ideas are taken seriously. The topic resonated because many participants recognized how often communication shapes outcomes.
The response to the conference confirmed that there is strong interest in formats that allow deeper engagement. This led to further sessions, including another workshop with Nika Triebe on how to speak in a way that ensures clarity and impact.
In the second phase of the project, from late 2025 to early 2026, the team expanded and the activities became more diverse. Instagram remained important, but additional channels were added. LinkedIn helped reach a broader audience, and a Spotify podcast created space for longer conversations.
The podcast allowed for more detailed discussions. In one episode, Joanna Witwicka—founder of Edkompas and a doctoral researcher at the University of Geneva—spoke about choosing a field of study, changing direction, and financing education abroad. The conversation showed how complex these decisions can be and how they often evolve over time. Another episode explored the role of teachers and how education is adapting to new expectations.
On March 7, 2026, the second “MindSet Future” conference took place. The focus shifted toward personal direction, values, and the role of courage in decision-making. Speakers addressed how individuals can define their own path and deal with external expectations.
Over time, “Gotowi na Przyszłość” has developed into a platform where young people can reflect, exchange perspectives, and better understand their options. It combines accessible content with opportunities for deeper discussion.
What stands out is how the project began. There was no large organization behind it, no significant funding, and no guarantee of success. It started with an idea and a shared observation. Through consistent work and gradual expansion, it developed into a project that reaches and supports a growing community.
At its core, it helps young people approach an uncertain future with more clarity and confidence, even when not everything is fully defined.
